Botswana is the only stallion to ever be named Supreme Champion Stallion and Leading Sire in the same year. Cooper's dam Mi Boomerangs Johara is by Ramses Boomerang, a multi top ten winner at the Egyptian Event and son of National Champion El Hilal out of the elite Ramses Safina. Johara's dam SR Sakrs Starr is by the Gleannloch bred Amir Ibn Sakr, a son of the Multi National Champion Park and Costume horse *Sakr and out of Shafeekah. Shafeekah is the result of two of the breeds most legendary producers *Morafic and *Magidaa. Cooper is everything his pedigree says he should be, beautiful, athletic and correct.
Cooper was shown at the 2009 Egyptian Event to a top ten (6th) in his Futurity class, he was the youngest colt to make top ten. He has the ability to take yo uto the winners circle anywhere you want to show him in halter now and performance later. Botswana is a filly sire, having sired fewer than 12 Straight Egyptian sons and many of them have already been exported.
